Alex Gensler is a 2012 graduate of Duquesne University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing & Sports Marketing.While playing for the women’s basketball team, the Dukes earned 4 straight WNIT appearances. She then realized her dream of playing professionally overseas for one year in the Hungarian A League. Thereafter, she returned to earn her MBA and serve as the graduate assistant coach for the University of Pittsburgh Women’s Basketball team.
Alex began her basketball career at Upper St. Clair where she led the team to a 2008 WPIAL championship. She also served as a coach at Baldwin High School as a Varsity Assistant/Head JV Coach. Coach Gensler joined The Scoring Factory in 2016 and has extensive knowledge in team strategy and player development.
