Slasher & Ball-Skills

Slasher
This seven week clinic will teach players of all positions offensive skills and moves to capitalize on their opponent’s weaknesses in game situations. The focus will be on getting to the basket, accepting & initiating contact and finishing. Players will learn how to set up each move, when to use it, and how to employ proper footwork to ensure success. Each session will focus on new drills and exercises providing players ample opportunity to incorporate these essential moves into their offensive repertoire. Slasher is available to Boys and Girls of all ages and takes place from 9:30-10:40am.

Ball-Skills
This program is designed for players looking to improve their ability to control the basketball. Each session will focus on various drills to teach players how to become more efficient with the basketball in order to increase confidence and limit turn-overs. Players will work on high-intensity ball-handling technique, mechanics, and skills. Passing will also be a major area of emphasis! Ball Skills is available to boys and girls of all ages looking to develop dexterity and coordination in both hands. Ball-Skills is available to Boys and Girls of all ages and takes place from 10:45-11:45am.

About The Fall Academy

The Scoring Factory presents our Fall Academy for Boys and Girls in grades 2nd through 12th.

We offer a true club structure with a built-in support system encompassing all aspects of player development, exposure and recruiting assistance under one umbrella. The Academy focuses on skill development, hard-nosed defense and the construction of a broad basketball IQ.

Our Fall Academy includes two weekly practices aimed toward skill work as well as opportunities to put those skills into action via competitive breakdown scenarios in order to stimulate learning. We employ a specialized teaching curriculum including classroom components incorporating aspects of the renowned European methodology.

There will not be weekend Gamedays in the Fall and this program is designed to provide an intense educational environment while ensuring that players are staying sharp and learning the necessary skills to continue to advance.
