One of our most popular programs, Handles will continue the tradition and present an intense ball-handling clinic that will challenge players with all new dribbling drills to take their Handles to the next level.

The Scoring Factory PREP program is designed for serious basketball players looking for an intense training environment to prepare for college basketball. We prepare current high school athletes as well as high school graduates looking to train and compete for an additional year while seeking the best possible college scholarship.
The Scoring Factory PREP provides advanced performance training combined with Injury Prevention to make our athletes stronger, faster and more explosive. Our practice and game schedule is designed to maximize national exposure to ensure that players have both training time to improve and the opportunity to showcase those results.
Players receive intense team practices, specialized workouts, shooting sessions, video analysis, evaluations and a complete package designed to help players advance to the college level.

The Scoring Factory PREP is for players that want advanced basketball instruction and physical development, college style offensive sets instead of outdated high school basketball plays, national exposure and an environment dedicated to connecting players with college coaches.
Our PREP program aims to keep Pittsburgh’s best and brightest home so they have the opportunity to put their city on the map as they matriculate to the next level. Our team will however be comprised of players from all over as our goal is to establish a national powerhouse known for producing high level college basketball talent.
The Scoring Factory PREP will eventually grow to include boarding options, but at this time most players will live in the comfort of their own home or shared living space.
We will play a mix of prep schools, junior colleges and D3 jv teams to ensure that our players have ample opportunity to showcase their abilities against high level competition geared toward procuring the interest of college coaches.
The Scoring Factory PREP provides advanced basketball instruction, athletic training, character enrichment and the platform for players to showcase their skills to college coaches. Players can continue their education through their home school district or any number of available cyber school options.
The Scoring Factory PREP accepts athletes who have demonstrated to our staff that they have the potential to play college basketball.
Athletes will train once or twice a day depending on their school schedule. This includes morning skill work, weight training, team practice, video review and athletic training (jumping higher, running faster and flexibility). Players will have access to the gym 24/7 for additional shooting sessions.
Players do a Post Grad year for a number of objectives including improving their basketball IQ and recruitment. Players take advantage of this extra year as an opportunity to get bigger, stronger and faster while using our PREP platform to attract the attention of college coaches.
No, playing a year in a prep school after high school does not affect NCAA eligibility. In fact, high school graduates can utilize a season with us as a gap year and take advantage of the overall environment to improve and gain exposure.
Yes, the college placement process is one of the most important aspects of The Scoring Factory PREP and our goals are your goals: to make sure you make it to the next level. Our college planning process begins immediately upon registration and only concludes when a player commits to play college basketball.
We guide our players through the entire recruiting process and help them find the university that is a great fit both academically and athletically. Players are taught how to search for universities with their intended major using the guidance of our staff. This also includes filling out applications, FAFSA forms learning how to communicate with schools and their coaching staff.

Yes, The Scoring Factory PREP thoroughly evaluates each application to ensure that we can help you reach your goal of playing college basketball. Once a completed application is submitted, the admissions process includes the submission of a letter of recommendation from a previous coach, teacher and school official, We will then schedule an in person or zoom interview to determine if they are a good fit for our program.
Applications for 2026–27 season will be accepted starting March 1st, 2026.
