
Gerald “Scoot” Warrick III graduated from Penn Hills High School in 2005 before heading to Edinboro University where he was a 1,000-point scorer and all-conference performer. Following college, he went on to play professionally overseas in Montenegro, Serbia, Turkmenistan, Hungary, China and for the World Famous Harlem Wizards.
Coach Scoot is known for his ability to help players develop so they reach their potential. Featured on Amazon Prime’s One Shot: Overtime Elite, he is a proven leader both on and off the court. His honors include the Dr. Cyril H. Wecht Humanitarian Award, induction into the Connie Hawkins Hall of Fame and recognition as an Education Partnership Middle School Teacher of the Year finalist.
As an educator and Assistant Coach at Imani Christian Academy, Coach Scoot has been a part of back-to-back WPIAL and Pennsylvania State Championship teams. He joined The Scoring Factory in 2026 wants to help players build confidence in their skills so they too can reach their dreams.
