Tyler Franklin graduated in 2007 from Penn State Altoona where he is still the all-time leading scorer for the Men’s Basketball program. He was a three-time All-Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference selection and has been inducted into the Penn State Altoona Athletics Hall of Fame.
Tyler now lives in Chartiers Valley with his wife Yasmin and their three children who are all actively involved in sports.
Coach Tyler officially joined The Scoring Factory staff in 2026 and has left an immediate impact. Known for being extremely positive and encouraging, Tyler loves to teach and motivate Pittsburgh’s next generation of hoopers.
