Coach Jonathan Bass fell in love with the game of basketball on the playground in a strong basketball culture in Monessen, PA. Following graduation from Ringgold HS in 1999, he attended Penn State Fayette where he played for the Men’s Basketball team.
After his collegiate playing career, Coach Bass began coaching youth teams in Jeannette, PA and eventually was hired as an assistant coach at Jeannette HS where he was later promoted to the position of head coach. During his 23-year coaching career, he has also been a head coach at Frazier HS and Serra Catholic HS with a stint as an assistant coach at Albert Gallitin HS.
Coach Bass joined The Scoring Factory in 2026 and brings positive energy to every gym he enters. He is passionate about teaching and enjoys helping players find their joy for the game while learning to push past their comfort zone.
