Alan Bauman played college basketball at Geneva College where he was a member of the 2001 NCCAA National Championship team. His background includes more than two decades of player development and coaching (Sewickley Academy, Geneva College, Knoch High School) giving him an understanding of what it takes to help young athletes reach their full potential on and off the court.
Alan has been heavily involved in all facets of AAU basketball with shoe-circuit teams and high-level exposure events down to mid-level competition. He has helped place numerous players at NCAA DI, D2, D3 and NAIA programs and understands the college recruiting process and what college coaches are looking for at each level.
Coach Bauman joined The Scoring Factory in 2026 as AAU Program Director and understands that finding the right college fit is about much more than just basketball. His goal is to help players improve, receive exposure and find the right opportunity to continue their basketball and academic journey.
