The Scoring Factory is proud to offer development leagues geared toward players looking to acquire the necessary foundation to compete at the college level or beyond.
These leagues are designed to increase basketball IQ and fine-tune the ability to read the defense. The 7-week format will consist of a half hour of instruction in the fundamental principals of various offensive and defensive skill sets followed by controlled competition. These leagues are aimed at teaching players to better recognize advantages and to capitalize, while improving their ability to master skills in game situations.
Players should also be prepared to learn that open shots are always good shots, even when they miss. All driven players with a desire to listen and learn are welcome to participate as coaches will teach players how to be better individuals in a team environment.
These IQ leagues are about stimulating growth and development and will encourage players to work on their weaknesses in uptempo game conditions. As with all The Scoring Factory programs, the emphasis will be on player development, not winning or losing. Players should be prepared to be both challenged and encouraged to take chances in order to improve.
